Butterbeer & Basketball

Last Friday, Aubrie had her friend spend the night. We walked down to the park so they could play basketball (her friend plays on an Upward team). Aubrie had wanted a basketball goal for Christmas, it was one thing she didn't get (Santa didn't know where she would be able to play at our house since the driveway is gravel). As luck would have it, we have a basketball court and park just down the street! 

After basketball the girls convinced me to take them to Starbucks since Aubrie had a gift card. Did you know Starbucks has a "Secret" Menu???? Yep! Apparently the girls googled it and decided they wanted a Butterbeer frappuccino (butterbeer is from Harry Potter). Fair warning, when you order off the secret menu, be prepared to give the barista the recipe 😳

Butterbeer frappuccino. Below is the recipe in case you ever need it! Thanks goodness for smartphones!  LOL 

1. Optional: Line cup with caramel drizzle.
2. Ask for a Creme Frappuccino base. Don't skimp on the fat by asking for skim or 2% milk as whole milk is required for the right consistency.
3. Add 3 pumps of caramel syrup.
4. Add 3 pumps of toffee nut syrup.
5. Top with caramel drizzle.

Jackson ordered a gaming chair with some of his Christmas money. It arrived this same day and he put it together all by himself!
