Brice! (and Gammy & Amy)

Gammy, Aunt Amy, and Brice came to visit while the kids were on Spring Break! It was nice to have some company while the kids were out of school. Aubrie was thrilled, she loves babies and was by Brice's side anytime he wasn't sleeping or eating. (Notice almost every picture is her and Brice). The weather was really nice, we went to the Zoo one day and got some fresh air. I'll put those pictures in a separate post soon.

Playing with Friends

Below are some pictures of the kids with their friends. Most of them are of Aubrie. Jackson and his buddies tend to play outside or around the neighborhood so I don't get to interact with them as much. I can't believe he will be 12 a week from today! 😳

Basketball Goal

Last fall, Aubrie became interested in basketball. (Her best friend is playing on an upward team this year) She asked for a basketball goal for Christmas and we got a floating one for the pool. We don't have the best yard to dribble a basketball and I wasn't sure how long this 'fad' would last so we didn't want to spend the money on getting a real one. Well....she is still interested and still asking for a real basketball goal 3 months later. LOL

I was walking the other day and saw a basketball goal on the side of the road that was still in decent shape. Of course, I was at the furthest point from the house so I ran (1.5 miles) back to the house to get the truck because I was afraid someone else would swipe it. I completed my 'walk' in record time 🤣

Luckily, it was still there when we pulled up! 

Drew was still at work so it was just the kids and I. I'm sure it would be on America's Funniest Home Videos if anyone recorded us trying to load this thing on the back of the truck ourselves!!!

We've ordered a new net for it on Amazon and it will look almost brand new after a little cleaning. My husband has taught me well, his scavengerness has rubbed off on me ;)

Kids Say & Do the Silliest Things

Some funny things the kids did recently. 


We were driving home and saw some really cool planes flying:

Jackson - "Those planes awesome. When he flies them he can hover over things"

Aubrie - "Jackson! It could be a she. Don't assume their gender!" 


 The day after our dentist appointment:

Me - "Jackson, Have you brushed your teeth?

Jackson - "No, but I remembered!"

Chick-fil-A Family Family Nights

We have a great Chick-fil-A in Gulf Breeze that does all sorts of themed evenings we can go to as a family. Below are the most recent ones we attended.

Family Game Night! We had dinner and played games together! 

We played Sorry, Jenga, and Uno! 

Around Valentines Day, there was a Daddy/Daughter Date Night that Drew took Aubrie too. The local high school kids waited on the tables, there were fresh flowers, a photo booth, and even free limo rides! 

Way to grown up!

Last week Aubrie had a field trip to the Oprea and she wanted me to straighten her hair for it. I can't believe how grown up she looks 😳

Holt & Fat Kat's Visit!

A couple of weeks ago Fat Kat, Aunt Callie, and baby Holt came to visit! Aubrie had been really looking forward to their visit, she did not let Holt out of her sight the entire weekend and you had to fight her if you wanted to hold the baby! 

They had just arrived in this picture and Aubrie had already latched on to Holt. Not that he seemed to mind ;)

Holt was a really good eater...he loved food and tried all sorts of new things!

Holt dressed up for the beach! It was a bit cool out, but the sun was shining and there was no wind so we got ready for a boat ride over to the beach.
