GIANT Turtle

Found a large turtle in the backyard yesterday. The kids (and Dakota) had a blast with it.

Lovin the Beautiful Weather!

Loving the beautiful spring weather we've been having! I wish it would stay like this...i'm dreading the 99 degrees and 95% humidity! Had another fun afternoon on the water with our family and friends. The kids were all whooped by the time we rode the boat back home.

Park Day and Ribbon Cutting

We had our ribbon cutting for Air Mania with the Navarre Chamber last week at the Navarre Park. The kids had a blast bouncin, running, and chasing the ducks! The weather that day was beautiful! Aubrie was exhausted!

Easter Egg Hunt

We hosted an Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon at the house. I had each kid bring 10 filled eggs to hide, we had close to 22 kids that ended up coming, so we hid about 220 eggs! All of the kids had a blast and will hopefully sleep good tonight! Check out the cherry-almond vanilla cupcakes I made, they were yummy!!!

Another Beach/Boat Day

Went on the boat to the beach with some friends on Sunday. Check out the GIANT hermit crabs we caught in the estuary. The kids had a blast and could have stayed hours longer!

Why live anywhere else?

The title of this post pretty much sums up my feelings after this day. We packed up a picnic lunch, drove the car 1 mile to the public dock, drove the boat 15 minutes to a private "island/peninsula" , and proceeded to spend the next 4 hours soaking up the sun, playing in the water, and catching fish/crabs in the natural estuary we found right behind the beach. We are so lucky to live in a place where we can do this 8 months out of the year!

Hot Pool

Both our kids LOVE playing in the Hot "Pool" as they call it. Aubrie thinks she is a fish and doesn't need her floaties. Here we come swimming lessons this summer!!!
